How to create a no-code apps with Softr

Softr is a no-code platform that allows you to create websites, web apps, and membership portals without coding.

Step 1: Sign Up and Log In

1. Go to Softr.io.

2. Click Sign Up and create an account.

3. Log in to access your dashboard.

Step 2: Create a New Project

1. Click Create New Application.

2. Choose Start from Scratch or select a Template that fits your AI knowledge website.

3. Name your project and click Create.

Step 3: Connect to a Data Source (Optional)

Softr integrates with Airtable, a database tool for managing content.

1. If you have an Airtable account, connect it to Softr.

2. Create a new Airtable base or use an existing one.

3. Sync your database with Softr to store AI-related content.

Step 4: Design Your Website

1. Use Blocks to add elements like text, images, buttons, and lists.

2. Customize your homepage with:

   • A header with your AI website name.

   • A hero section with a welcome message.

   • A content section with articles or tutorials.

3. Adjust fonts, colors, and layouts to match your brand.

Step 5: Add Content

1. Go to Pages and create different sections for AI topics (e.g., AI Basics, Machine Learning, Chatbots).

2. Use Lists and Cards to display articles and tutorials.

3. Enable Search and Filters so users can find AI topics easily.

Step 6: Set Up Membership (Optional)

If you want exclusive content:

1. Go to Users & Membership.

2. Enable Sign-up/Login.

3. Set access levels for free and premium users.

Step 7: Publish Your Website

1. Click Preview to check your website.

2. Click Publish when ready.

3. Choose a Softr domain or connect a custom domain.
